Going to a theme park in Spain was not something I honestly thought we were going to do. We didn't really have it planned and I'm not a Rollercoaster kind of person. Haha. But this theme park was nothing like in the United States.
We left the apartment and got on the metro. Our first transportation out of the three we had to use to get there.
The second means of transportation was the bus! With the metro card (pictured above) you can actually use that to get on all the buses around barcelona as well! The pass was $44 euro for 5 days of use! Which is a great deal to get around. It equals out to a little under $10 dollars (usd) for each day!
We arrived at this area before we got on a funicular to take us up to the actual theme park! It was a gorgeous view of the city.
My ticket or pass for the funicular railway! You can either ride this for a fee ($33), drive yourself, or take a taxi. The pass was round trip for the price. They also have annual passes if you are local! We bought our ticket upon arrival but you can buy it prior on their website.
My first time on a funicular! It was not a long ride but it had a really pretty view!
The higher we got up the mountain the more excited I was to see this theme park! It was a cool experience using this to go to and from the park!
As soon as you arrive, you are instantly met with this gorgeous multiple level church! It's called Sagrat Cor Church. It's just on the opposite side of the theme park and worth a visit being so close! Literally steps away from the park!
Now, to the theme park! We waited in line and got our wrist bands for the day! I ended up getting unlimited rides just incase there was something for me!
Another view from a higher ground to try and show the theme park!
How stunning. Words almost do nothing for the views I had.
Even though we were getting on the ferris wheel just as the sun was setting and the wind was starting to pick up. It was totally worth it. Seeing this at the exact moment that we did was worth the wait, the cold, and the crowds. Everything was perfect in this moment.
